Squier’s Specialty Elixirs was founded by chef Zack Squier—a food and beverage expert with over 17 years in the restaurant industry and a lifelong passion for bold flavor, real ingredients, and doing things the right way—even when it’s the hard way.

Zack started working in restaurants at 13, opened his first at 22, and spent more than a decade building a career rooted in hospitality and craft. Behind the scenes, he also held a deep respect for cannabis—whether it was helping someone with pain, sleep, anxiety, or simply offering a better, more intentional way to unwind.

By 2019, after years of long nights in professional kitchens, he realized something: the cannabis products on the market didn’t reflect the standards of a chef, or of a conscious consumer. Artificial flavors. Overly sweet formulas. Inconsistent experiences…

What began as late nights in a rented kitchen in Maine—experimenting with savory-forward edibles and solventless extracts—evolved into something much bigger: a premium infused food and beverage company built on culinary principles.
